What is this buckle from or for?

Coinseeker 78

Hi this is my first post. I was hunting a place next to where an old Stage coach inn still stands. I have found Buttons and civil war bullets here. I was trying my new Fisher F-70 and found this buckle at about 8 inches. I can't decide if it was a belt buckle or Shoe buckle. Has anyone seen one like this.?

like off a money bag! what did it sound like, how big is it, and what was the tid and your settings? Cool find! WTG! :clapping:

It sounded like a quarter but to big to be a coin. It is 3X2 inches in size and probably made of brass. My settings were 99 sensitivity, -3 threshold, 6 disc and 4 tones.
