This button is roughly the size of a quarter. I've found 7 or 8 of these over the years at one particular site and just dug another one. Any info on what it's from and roughly the age would be helpful. Thanks.

That is the modern button used since WW II, I believe.

Hey, while I've got you guys here...I found an old button that somebody told me is a railroad worker button probably from the 1800's. It's got four initials on it which I can't remember, but I remember one being "M" for Michigan. Anyway, are any of these old rail road buttons worth anything to RR collectors? If they are I'll get a picture of it up.

One RR button comes to mind... M & St L, Minneapolis and St. Louis RR. I collect RR buttons.
