Found next to a baseball field, less than 2” down. Appears to be marked with B&M and 050 - looks like it might have a hole drilled (or made when manufactured) above the “B” - any idea what this is?? Found in Maine.

Wow, that is pretty cool. I thought it looked like some kind of tag that may have been attached to something. It is my first railroad item and was found far away from the area where there is a railroad. But this area (South Berwick) has an early rail history so it makes sense! Thanks again, always fun to learn.
