What is your favorite coil

Which coil do you use on your MXT's and why?

I use the 5.3 most of the time and the rest I use the 8x10 double d coils.

I now use the 10" DD coil most of the time because it is really deep and being a DD, it also has good target separation. The 5.3 is my second choice.

I use the 6X10 most of the time as the depth and coverage are good and it separates well in moderate trash.

All depends where I'm detecting. Open fields(12 X 15 SEF), woods/trashy area( 6X10), 10"DD anywhere.

Jimmy sierra 3x9 hotfoot(no longer available i think). It performs very much like a DD, extreme target separation, decent depth, and pinpoints first rate.

I go along with BarberBill. The 6x10 DD offers a great balance for my general hunting without sacrificing too much of any one feature. (depth, seperation, etc).
