Here's what keeps me going when the finds are diminishing and things start to get to me. A 10K gold bracelet in a chipbark play area that held only about 2-3 coins as well. Overall, I dug 44 coins today, 5 were nickles someone missed. Steve in so az

there's a gold area about 1 hour from my house. Been there a few times but no hunkers like yours. Some guys do get them tho. Good find for you, Steve

That converts to 15.43 DWT or 0.77 Ounces.

If you can give me an idea of where you lost it CJM I will let you know if it's it or not.

Here is a clue: it was somewhere in Western Australia which is about half as big as continental USA.

That should narrow it down a bit for you.
