What kind of depth can I expect with the 3 X 18 coil?

Hi, just curious what kind of depth I can expect from my 3 X 18 coil on my Vaquero, compared to the 8 X 9 coil. Does it go as deep or is it more for covering a larger area for shallow surface targets.

I was just told it's good down to about 3 to 5,,,, but that works for me cuz I'm just interested in covering alot of ground for recent drops

you may get a little deeper depending on mineralization and targets...

Expect a bit of a loss depthwise but do expect extreme coverage...always a plus and minus unfortunately...

Between 2 to 3 inches less than you would get with the standard 9 x 8 in the same soil conditions. More if it is trashy and you are fighting with masking due to the trash density.
