What kind of detector/detectors do you all use?

over the many years there is a story like this as each new machine comes out. They all sound the same. Do you think this machine can find 1100 more targets ? Steve

I use a Garrett GTI 1500 for land and a Excalibur 1000 for water.

The poster said he was in a park in an area the size of a baseball field. This of course would have included targets the size of BBs, can slaw, pull tabs etc. The conditions would have had to been ideal to find that many targets of course. Terry (goesforever), Mike, Greg and Pete have all switched to multiple frequency machines because they have found more and at greater depths. The Explorer II uses 28 frequencies and the Infinium uses 96. The Explorer series of detector gives far more information than any V.L.F or the Infinium. The Infinium had problems when they first came out but they have been corrected. More and more guys are going to the Infinium but not a thundering herd. A fellow promised me to have exclusive rights to hunt his pond and I would to hunt it as it was used for picnics for churches and such. I have a desire for the Infinium not just based on that one fellows story. Check out some of the posts on the Infinium forum here as well as the Minelabs. Do I think that any of the above mentioned fellows could follow you through an area that you have just found targets in and at greater depth yes. Do you want to dig those deeper or masked targets, it's up to you.
