what kind of small coil do you need for the lone star pro

the original 4" gold nugget coil should work not the ultra coil. i think the ultra is for the higher frequency machines. hightone or dave j can give you a better answer, i bet one of them responds here soon. if you look around the little 4" coil can be gound for 30-35 dollars. a good little coil.
 
woops, lone star pro might indeed use the newer coil. the older design land star would use the older coil. sorry thought i was in your earlier post.
 
This guy is using the older 4" coil with the LRP and seems to be finding coins.
