What settings do you use on your Eldorado?

Nothing special to set really.
Threshold set for a slight audio.
Ground balance and hunt away
Run as high sensitivity as you can. Mine was usually set at 75%
Choose mode of detection all metal or disc.
In disc I set it just above nail, below foil.
Most of the time I hunt in all metal and switch to disc to help determine whether to dig or not. Comparing the two tones.
Tesoros are just too easy to use and I like knobs and switches.

Sven hit it pretty well. I use as much sensitivity as runs quiet and smooth, disc same as Sven, however I usually hunt in disc rather than all metal. The Eldorado is definitely one of my favorite detectors.

if it hits the nickel, off i go. if i go fron sand to clay, maybe a reset like sven, but if it hits the nickel its ready. i used to use my wedding band but realizing so many people loose them, we hunt them, i leave it in the car or home. and my wife knows if i aint wearing it, i am hunting treasure, not women. a man with a wife and a girlfriend is a gluten for punishment
