What settings when loaning a 705 to a beginner.

If you were loaning a 705 to a family member for some basic "treasure hunting" while somewhat supervised; how would you set it?

How about a wife that doesn't "want" any help or supervision?
 
If coin shooting, I'd probably knock out everything below 28 and tell them to dig everything that's repeatable.
They'll dig a lot of old crown caps and aluminum screw caps, but that will be a test of their resolve.

My ex- #2 would evisserate you if you tried to help her with anything she didn't actually ask for help with....which she almost never did.
