what size coils dose every one use ?

just wondering like i said in the post before this im a new "OLD" explorer owner got one for $600.00 with stock ,8inch,and 5 inch loops 3 lower shafts rain cover and the book by andy sabash"which helped alot". so what ciols do you all use where and when? and dose anyone use a WOT coil? and how do you like that? thanks josh t the bugguy

I primarily use the stock coil in less trashy areas for the coverage and the depth. I have been recently digging old Pennies as Indians and Wheats in the 9+ inches mark with it and it is just a great coil. I also use the Joey Coil in trashy areas since it can get in between trash targets to find older coins that the other larger coils have missed because of the masking of the trash. This coil is the second most used by me and would be lost if I didn't have one to use in these types of areas. I also have the 8 Inch just incase that the trash is too heavy for the Joey and it has great depth also. I own a Sunray X-12 Coil but haven't used it much to tell you if it works better or about the same than the stock coil. Although it is a lot lighter than the stock coil that is for sure. That Joey coil is a very light coil and you can swing with ease and is another great reason to own one. Works good with a little clearer signal than the stock from what I have seen so far. Still a youngster with this yet... My volume knocks the ear drums out at 3 ---
