What this forum means to me!..........

First I need to say it is my home away from home! It is actually my home page!
Next I need to say thank you to Steve from AZ for inviting me over here about 8 or 9 years ago. I think he and I are the senior members here! Well he is a senior, but you get the picture!
And how about the answers to prayer we have seen!
How about all the prayers we have got to take part in on others behalf!
We have watched in some cases each others kids grow up!
I personally have met and hunted with at least 33 people who have taken part in this forum. Some only stop by now and then, but they are family. Some are also wives, kids, or friends of forum members.
I have spoke with at least 5 on the phone who I have yet to meet face to face.
I have called or emailed for advice from brothers and sisters here.
Even my hero is the son of one of our family members here!
Sadly we have seen some members go home to be with the Lord. But we will see them again!
Ya see, this is a family here. There is much more I can say, but most of you guys no what I'm talking about!
I love my brothers and sisters in Christ here at this forum! I pray that each of you will continue to be blessed by our Heavenly Father.
Thank you all for being a part of my life!
Live to serve Him!

Mike, Great post but I have a question inquiring minds want to know. How come it say's that you registered 2 years ago? Somebody should fix that for you. At over 8 thousand posts it seems like you have been at this longer than 9 years!!!

Great post Mike, our brothers and sisters in Christ truely are family. I am new to the forum and am wondering where in Michigan do you live? I would be happy to go detecting with you any time, if your not to far away. Are there any get togethers planned in the near future for a weekend hunt, that would also be great. I got a new computer and had to re-do all the sign up stuff. Plus I added Iron Brigade to the end. Of the 8,000 posts, 99.9% are at this forum!

Mike, I enjoyed the phone conversation we had the other day. It was very uplifting for me.Thank God for this forum. Sometimes it is good to go outside of the normal routine for advise or just to have someone to share with. Keep praying for my situation and I will keep you lifted up as well.Hope you can get out this way this fall. Maybe I will have found that virgin CW campsite by then so that we can enjoy the bounty.
