what version of 250 ?

Is there anyone who knows whether the 250 that they have would benefit by getting the pinpoint tweeked? Does anyone know the serial number ranges?

Also, can anyone give a clear description of the problem and how to recognise it?
 
Dont' know the serial number thingy, but I have one of the first 250's distributed. The problem is that it will detect deeper than it will pinpoint. Not really a problem to me, more of a nuisance. I can still "x" my target the old-fashioned way and get pretty darned close. I might send mine in, but I hate to be without it.
If you hit on a deep target and it won't give you a pimpoint signal, then you got one, too.
