What would you like to see in a first ORX update?

It can be done... if enough people demand it. Have heard very little of the issue with the ORX until now.

If it is not updated I guess we'll just have to slum the Deus.

And to a degree it can work and be useful. But some things are done in the way the design engineers make these devices in the first place that isn't easily changed or fixed via wire connection.

As for the ORX, it does have some design annoyances for some people, like me in some ways, but I owned one and worked it well for three months and let it go in some thinning and changing in my arsenal. I'm in the process of adding an ORX back into the group with the 5X9½ HF coil. It will fit well with two other detectors I now have to be a 'constant-carry' detector. I'll have my three models assigned for serious Relic Hunting and three at-the-ready for dedicated Coin & Jewelry Hunting trips, but the ORX plus two others I have will share the space on the back seat for 'daily travel' to grab-and-hunt as the opportunity comes up.

If they do make some useful changes that interest me in a future model they bring out, I might get one of those, too. But I can live with the ORX as designed. And do so without a need to 'update' the unit, too.
