what would you rather have, a T2 or F75 ??

targets

Member
looking at comparisons there are differences , some say the F75 is too sensitive compared with the T2 .
is this still the case`?

baffling that we have 2 versions and they are not the same

Targets,
The main differences are,
F75 has a back light
F75 retains last settings after power down
F75 has a notch feature.
F75 has a wider coin range in its #'s. T2 has wider iron range in its #'s
Depth for me has been identical.
I dont find either one more sensitive than the other.
Call me if you need more advice or need better pricing options.

Thanks, Bart

I really like the T2. It's a coin getter, Silver, Clad and everything in between. Depths are fantastic.

I have the LTD F75 and It has EMI Issues in my area, The T2 doesn't seem to be as affected .. very little problems actually

I have stated many times.. The T2 to me is the Ultimate detector..

I have never experienced any difference in the two machine but there you go. Just goes to show you that there is always exceptions! lol

Have you tried T2 SE with same results??

I want to clarify something here. I am not bashing the F75 or the F75 LTD. Their fine detectors. In fact superior detectors even. My problem is EMI , and that isn't the detectors fault. We had a surge in building and all the places built have computer equipment, with lots of electrical equipment, and antennas sticking out for reception So I just need to find new areas for detecting.. My statement does still stand. For me the T2 has proven to be an all time favorite..... that works just about everywhere.

Bart I too would like to hear about the T2 SE, and EMI from all who use them.

I'd opt for the T2 SE, and the only think I really wish the T2 (and other models) had was a decent back-light.

nato tom has written a full review of differences between the 2

Hunted with the T2 SE and F75 LTD in same area at the same time. I felt the T2SE ran a little smoother with less EMI interference. Of course the performance was the same.

One needs to look over the "spec's" of both detectors before making a purchase. The F75 has a lot more menu choices that can be made over the T2. But this is the T2 forum, let me try and hit on some of the highlights of the T2.

The T2 has a greater range of resolution within the iron range of discrimination. Other words the discrimination is spread out more with the T2, making it so you have a finer adjustment in that range.

The T2 has a faster recovery speed than the F75. Don't get me wrong, the F75 is not slow, but the T2 is faster.

T2 is a bit easier to operate over the F75. More adjustments on the F75. That could be good or bad, depending on your ability's.

Sensitivity is the same on both detectors providing were comparing Apple to Apples, Std. to Std, LTD to LTD, SE to SE.
