Is there a way to tell what model year a detector is ?
 
serial number ?
 
I dont know, Thats what i was thinkin but somtime the numbers dont make sence.
 
You bet! Call the factory with your serial number!
 
If you call me at 928-771-2646. Ask for robert, I can look up the registration card with the serial number and find out when it was first registered but we have no way of telling the exact date.

I was told their computer crashed at Tesoro a couple of years ago and they lost the records and the current serial numbers have a 191 as the beginning digits, so you might be able to get close with dates produced above and the current 191 serial numbers.
