To your way of thinking, what's your best or most unusual find you ever made? (Relics or Coins) Also-numbers of coins? Other than all the spiritual emblems we've found--for me, in relics it was a Confrederate States "CS" buckle out of Tenn. (I'll never forget that hunt) For coins, I've never found any of the REAL OLD coins that you guys back east have. That's why I "drool" everytime I see your posts & pics-HA.-----In the last 4 years- we've found 3 silver dollars (1879S Morgan, 1886P Morgan, & 1928S Peace.-----In the last 6 years-we've found 21 silver halves-(Barbers, Walkers, Franklins & 90% Kennedys)-4 Barbers, 10 Walkers, 5 Franklins & two 90% Kennedys. (dates 1897 thru 1964)-----79 silver quarters-(Barbers, Standing Libertys & Washingtons)-14 Barbers, 19 Standing Libertys (9 readable dates & 10 non-readable dates), 46 silver Wash.- (dates 1893 thru 1964).-----Dimes--2 Seated Liberty (1887P & 1887S), 37 Barber dimes (1897 thru 1916).----Many, many Mercs & Rosies---many old coppers (oldest being 1880)-----The oldest coin I ever found was a 1874 Shield nickel (under a mesquite bush at an old outlaw hangout). I'm finding more nowadays than I did back in the 1970's with the old Compass & Whites. It must be the newer detectors--cause I ain't that good!! HA I know a lot of you guys can beat the sox off of all this stuff--I just think it's fun to share-----WHATCHA GOT THERE????? Later my friends, Del
