Whatever happened to....

Jim C (Mich)

Well-known member
Upstate Jim, Ed from Upstate, Charles, Ric (as in "he riced a coin) Randy from Wisc. Randy (I think was his name)from Calif. who found the 49er coins. Plus a lot of other old timers from the forum? I don't mean to leave other out because I know they will read this and say, hey I was a part of those guys. Just a lot of guys missing that used to post here when the explorer was first out. Where did everyone go?

Hi Jim,

I think it was Ron (Ca) who found the 49er coins..... Last I heard, Ron's moving back east. Randy is "RandyinNorthRidge" and he's still around, Still hunts with his Explorer.

Allot of the first time Explorer users are missing in action, Hopefully they are doing well and still metal detecting.

I guess most of them just got bored and drifted away to another forum.
Maybe they changed machines, or retired from MD'ing? Maybe they just changed handles and went underground. I was wondering what happened to you Jim? I see you got a couple of them solved by others in here.
hey remember C.C.? he's not here - least as C.C. but I know where he does post now.

I saw a post on NTD from Charles . Also he has his own Web Pg . http://www.detectorgear.com/dgforums/index.php

I have emailed a few and there doing ok. Most are detecting yet and some have stopped for what ever reason and it's not because they were not finding anything! Well maybe they will kick in and it will be like old times! I miss the old times if you want to call them that :)
