What coins are on your hit list?

Mine would be US Coins, mostly. Although even in Florida I find Canadian now and then.

- I've only found seated liberty dimes. Never a quarter, half or silver dollar.
- REAL silver dollar of any kind. Have never found one
- Three cent piece
- Morgan Half
- Large cent
- Any other US coinage that ended before 1850

And of course...

- ANY U.S. gold coin

I dont care as long as theres a lot of them! really would be nice to get a big silver dollar and a gold coin of any sort...anything really worth some loot...HH

Just a standing liberty Quarter....is that too much to ask???
Found a liberty dime this year (total fluke as some kid dropped it in a tot lot).
I guess a big ol' silver dollar would make my life a bit better but a simple, common S.L.Q is all I really have my sites on.

Mine are real simple. I've found Barber halves, Seated dimes and a scad of other desirable coins. But there are two I would do a back flip over (well, a jig anyway... back flips at my age are out....):

Large Cent
Standing Liberty Quarter

Of course, any gold coin would be welcomed, too.

Wow! I forgot to add one coin to the list, Large cent! this is a must find! C-Dog

Thank you. I've yet to find one after 20 years detecting.

Would love to find a Draped Bust half-dollar ....or any denomination of that variety for that matter.

30+ years of detecting and not a single silver dollar. I'd also like to find my first Flying Eagle. Other than that I've found pretty much everything else within reason, and some without reason.

Strangely enough, my original goal when I started metal detecting was to find an indian head cent. I figured that after finding one, I'd up my goals to older silver and more desirable coins. So far I have found lots of silver, including merc dimes, rosies, washington quarters, and even a standing liberty quarter.... but still no IH penny. I keep digging, and hoping!

Any coin that has silver. Have yet to find one. Did find one buffalo nickel but not any silver.

I started my detecting career lucky last year, 3 Barber halves, Morgan dollar, Standing liberty quarter, several Indian Head Pennies, Canadian 5cent fish scales...

My goals for this year were to find a large cent, a Barber dime, a walking Liberty half, and any seated coin. Well, I have already found the large cent (Canadian), and I got my Barber dime woohoo!

My "bucket list" coin finds would be: $20 Double Eagle, any really old Spanish silver, and a Seated Half.

Logically speaking a bust silver coin..best was a 1839 seated dime came close on that one..

Gold coin(priceless) once found a copper subway token and for a minute thought I had a dollar version..

Honestly hope I can get a few more years in and will take anything at this point as at 73 its downhill....

I'm right there with darrenb, I would love to find an Indian Head Penny. Found two Large Cents this year, alot of silver including a Barber dime and quarter and a mess of Wheats. Even found a 1787 Copper but no IH Cent. I'll keep at it till I do though. Joe.
