Hello all, thought I'd start a different topic here to see how everyone's doing with their Quattros! So, here is my tally for the year 2007 so far, covering beach and goldfields detecting.
So here's the tally for the Quattro for me:
Beach Detecting:
$75.64 in 125 coins
1 copper bracelet
1 silver ring
2 copper rings
4 junk earrings
A myriad of sinkers!
Same for the fishing lures!
A heap of trash, including pull tabs, crown caps, cans, aluminium rubbish, etc.

Goldfields Dectecting:
12 old diggers spoons
several buckles
several pins or brooches
1 musket ball
1 pocket knife
2 cuff links
A heap of old buttons
1884 sixpence
1963 threepence
1960 threepence
1955 sixpence
1840 threepence
1861 threepence
1879 silver shilling
1879 threepence
1881 sixpence
Florin, old, date unknown, too worn
Farthing, old, date unknown, too worn
22 1600's chinese cash coins
1941 penny
1942 penny
1952 penny
1860 penny
1916 half penny
1893 half penny
2 of 1862 half pennies
1928 farthing
plus a few more worn pre-decimal coins too worn to date.
A heap of iron rubbish.
Roofing nails and iron & copper nails.
5 old goldfields bottles
1 penny ink pot
numerous glass bottle tops
numerous old thimbles
1 safety pin
several clock keys
A few old rusty tools.

Still haven't found a gold sovereign yet, but keenly looking still!!

Hello Golden. Nice tally. I love those goldfields finds. Here's my coin finds for the year so far.

$89 in one and two dollar coins.

Well,,,,,,,,,,,,, I think I've found about 3 or 4 bucks in clad change. Guess I better get going!!!!!, but I know the Quatro can do it, I just need to do my part too!!!!!:(
 
Hi Ken, I noticed that your gold sovereign was top of the list, just under the current coinage you found! It would have had pride of place too, for me, had I found it! I've only ever found one token, a Peace and Plenty token, so it'd be nice to find more. You've certainly found a lot of pre-decimals copins, that's great.

Hello Beachguy. Well, all I can say is keep getting out there when you can, maybe get Bonnie to dig the holes for you!! Just kidding around, but yeh, aren't you coming into summer months in California? I'm in the winter now, and feeling the cold too, brrrrr.....!!!
