whats the best detector you ever owned?

My fellow members I have watched videos like most and the ones who purchased a V3i and stuck with it are the best metal detectorists. They are dedicated to learning the
metal detecting.
Quitters never win! Many purchase the V3i and soon learn the machine has an arduous learning curve and become frustrated and get rid of it! Everything I study has been a very rewarding experience. I believe if it is easy I do not want it. The experience of the V31 and its' reward is the icing on the cake. Many detectorists will say this ground is too hard to do any metal detecting. As though you may need to jump on a jet and go elsewhere to metal detect. Take the V31 and with the highest configurability begin to master all that it has to offer and my adage is the V3i will hunt it! Practice the three P's! Patience, Persistence, and Perseverance

My best finds were with an XL-PRO.I loved the analog meter, especially when hunting small jewelry.Nowadays I swing a Fisher F-75,an XP orx and a WS6 Deus II.

Favorite inland detector was the Whites Eagle Spectrum, had that one for 20 years, always enjoyed hunting with it. Salt water detector is the Minelab Excalibur II. Chest mount, straight shaft.

This is a loaded question, Like which girl did you like the best, to me it was always the girl I took to the dance. So when it comes to detectors, it's like the detector I'm using at the time. But there was always one detector that I kept circling back to after using 35 or so detectors and it was the Fisher Coin$strike. I actually owned three of them at one time. Now was it my favorite machine, I guess it was the one I showed up at the dance with the most.
