Garrett AT Pro on coins and general hunting. If you want the most punch/depth look at the Garrett AT Gold and its all metal mode. Its extremely sensitive and had the AWESOME 5x8 coil on it.

No detector does it all. Although most detectors will do the basics, certain detectors with the proper coil and set up will accelerate in certain areas, be it relics, coins, gold, jewelry, water, salt water vs. freshwater etc. Knowing what type of hunting you do can help the rest of us make a more accurate suggestion.
