What's the difference between the Explorer and the Safari?

FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE USED BOTH DETECTORS, what's the difference between the Explorer and the Safari? Does the Safari get the depth of the Explorer? Other than the ferrous numbers, is there much difference in the sounds or other?

I havent used the Safari only the Exp II.
The Explorer II has four audio settings, normal, audio 1, 2 and 3. Those put tails onto the sounds, like draws them out. I mostly use audio 1 but do sometimes use audio 2.

I know that ther Safari has at least four pre set programs - the Explorer II doesn’t have those but you can create your own and save up to six programs.

Depth is probably similar. Some folkes say the Explorer Se Pro is the deepest of the Explorer series (probably includes the Safari) and most of those use a 13 inch Pro coil.
