Whats the difference if any between the Discovery 3300 and Titan 3000XD?

Hi, a friend of mine is thinking on buying a Titan 3000,and he was asking me if there is any differenc between the discovery and the titan.I didnt know if there was any difference they look the same to me,just different color scheme...........thanks stan

Looks like the same detector to me in a different package....First Texas makes their products for a variety of re-sellers to their color schemes...I would say that electronically, there is no difference.

I own the Titan and as far as I know the only difference is in the warrantee. The Titan has a five year one against the Discovery 90 day or one year, I don,t know if the discovery comes with a locking collar for the shaft or not. They didn't in the past. The Discovery does not come with the extra goodies you also get with the Titan from Kelleyco.
