Imho $400 is on the high end of one in very good condition.

I like my M6 but I did not and would not pay $400 for a used one. A used one could be up to 11 years old, I think the M6 came out in 2006? A new old stock M6 sold recently on Ebay for $469. Maybe shoot for half (or less) of new MAP? That would be $320 (or less).
You can expect an M6 to bring less than a MXT (all things be equal) and used MXTs can be found for less than $400 (MXT Pros obviously are more).

Of course the value is ultimately what you and seller agree is fair.
