Anybody know what these buttons are? The both have a similar S with one being larger than the other

I have done some research but cant find anything! I'm guessing 1800's time period considering its close proximity to a seated quarter and 1800's local trade token that was found earlier.

Civil War era Secret service (big/little letters?) I see you are a new member, put something in the photo as a reference to size by. Most use a coin and its to “see” the size, there are members on here who often come back with an answer. My guess? Depending on their size it could be the larger is a main body coat button and the smaller a sleeve/cuff button. S would be the brand name???
