What's up with T2 prices?

I've noticed that some dealers have raised prices on new T2's from the normal $799 to $999 and the T2 LTD to $1199. Anyone know what's up with that? First time I can recall the price of a machine going up that much after it has already been on the market for this long.
 
Maybe people are finally realizing, that it IS the best detector on the market.
 
supply is low and demand is high.
 
It was $999 if you put your order in before the machine was released, then the price went up to a selling price of $1199 once it was released. I think the regular T2 is still $799.
