Definitely +1 on 5.75. I prefer concentric.
Only coil that i use on my UK version of the Vaquero is the NEL Snake 6.5x3.5'' deadly on small silver hammered coins as the machine runs @18khz and very trashy roman sites,also another scenario it excels at is getting in between the stubble rows when the crops come off,the stock coil 11x8 that came with it is never used,not overly keen on it,so it just sits in a cupboard gathering dust.

For the Vaquero or the Tejon i believe if you have the stock 9x8 concentric; get the 5.75 concentric for heavier trash and the 11x8 DD for the open areas. These work good for me...
