Since I got my computer updated and obtained highspeed and can get google earth and you tube, I'm like a kid with a new toy. Tonight I was playing around with google earth and visited Tallahassee Florida. I got a good shot of this dude swinging either a weedwacker or a metal detector. Pros for a detector is that he is using only one hand, doesn't seem to be wearing eardefenders which I believe if he was working for the city it would be manditory also it looks like he has a screwdriver in his hand.. Its yellow, but looks a bit larger than an Ace 250. and the coil looks a little on the large size. So what do you all think???? HH Ken

Isn't that a gas powered automatic metal detector/digger? How would you pinpoint with that thing?....Get Dirty....Dirty Don.......

All you have to do is mount a coil on it!

It's the all new Garrett gas powered Ace 350 It will detect a coin, a tv monitor will give a sharp image of it, telling the date, also giving the condition of the coin.
It then rates the coin Uncircluated through poor. After making up your mind whether to dig or not, an auger extends digging it. It then cleans the coin, polishes it and spits it out into a coin bag. Next model should have remote control where you can use it from your folding Lounge chair.

Seriously though. I used Firefox's zoom feature and at 400% zoom - you can tell it's a weed whacker.
