Went hunting yesterday and pulled out 17 old copper coins before I pulled any silver. Then bam 2 silvers in a row. Most of the time I see a ration of about 6 wheats to 1 silver found. Is that about average? In your opinion do you think this is because:
1. There were less silver coins than wheats.
2. Silver coins weight more and go deeper on average.
3. Other detectorists have gone through and pulled out the "high" signals thus getting most the silver coins.
