When gold is purified it is put into a crucible and heated to a high temp. The impurities rise to the top and the goldsmith drags them away with a carbon rod.This is done repeatedly until the goldsmith can see his face in the molten mass. Then it is pure.

God is the silversmith and our trials & tribulations are in the molten metal. Our sins are the impurities He is taking away as we become like Him.
The next time you have a big problem remember - God doesnt see His face in there yet. Steve in so az

Yes, how true Steve and to go through a fiery trial isn't pleasant but when it is over how much better we feel when we keep on trusting in our Lord Jesus and we do not turn back to our weak, fleshly sinful ways! In Jesus Christ we can endure and overcome all things! Amen! Ma Betty
