When pennies are interesting.

The seasons are changing. For the second Thursday in a row I had to hunt just for a place to hunt. Even my old silver site was in use. I've never seen anybody using that park. Never! I tried and tried for gold today. I dug every piece of junk , every half corroded zinc, every pop top, every bit of foil, every coin for a total of 4 and a half hours and only got one interesting item, pictured. I did add 170 coins and 16 bucks to my yearly clad total so the day wasn't a total waste.

I assume whoever wore it was born in 1978. I sure wish they were born in 1909.

Ground is getting dry fast and my finger tips are raw. We might get a piece of that hurricane so I may be stuck inside for the weekend. Its 50/50 right now.

That's an interesting find Chris. You sure do rack up the coins.
For my jewelry hunting I key in on the foil range. Knowing I am not
going to get them all so that's the range I dig. Everything that
reads as foil I dig. Ending up with a lot of foil and a nice collection
of gold jewelry. Lots of digging but I figure who else is going to go
out and dig the foil signals. So far it's working great for me.
