When will new F75 LTD2 stock be available?

Anyone get their upgrade back or new one shipped? My main detectors are now sent in on trade so I'm all in on a new one. I'm at the mercy of FTP which is not ideal. lol I do have a 705 and eurotek in the mail though so at least I have something.

VERY GOOD!!----Confusus say (or is it confusion say)----Man should not be without tectors!!!

I dropped off my F75SE yesterday after receiving the pre-paid shipping label and see where it just left Hutchins, TX...

Rain is falling now but when it stops, I'm going to fire-up the E-Trac or the ole trusty 1235-X...

I just wanted to post what my dealer emailed me.. Fisher told him this friday earliest ;( looks like i will have to read the forums to see what you southern guys are doing with your new machines.. Winter is close for me here in ohio as we have had flurries last weekend.. Ive hunted every year in winter but last year was a rough one.. This year is supposed to be as bad :( So we will see.. Im ok with the wait, i dont want the machines to be released before they are ready.. I think all companies have done that and for me and many others the whites release of the mx5 was messed up.. They kept saying my mx5 was normal and thought i was crazy and i sent video after video of the machine acting crazy.. Til finally corporate called me and took care of issue.. Then they posted a "yes there is a tone problem" thread.. I will be happy just to get a good working machine by spring ;) What does everyone else think?

7 year old parts must be hard to come by......can't imagine any other reason for not stocking dealers with the new models and pent-up demand....

their mfg process needs some work obviously....

as to your comment on 'released before they are ready' this is just a SW upgrade as far as I know so this shouldn't be the case at all....

also, my gripe is that you look at most dealers web sites and the old version is what you see (and what they will probably ship to you, i.e. what's in stock). very poorly managed transition
on First Texas's part....and they certainly don't seem to give a shite....it's almost like they (dealers and FT) want to purge the old stock by selling to unsuspecting customers and then let
them deal with the hastle of sending them back for the 'free' upgrade.....even from foreign countries! good luck with your reputation FT...

I'm wondering if the upgrades will be delayed for ever as well. Two different departments though.

Logic tells me they will be delayed. My number was 222 and my unit is there now. It they got back even half of those numbers to upgrade a four day turn around seems impossible to me. I would imagine they will be swamped and upgrades will take three or four weeks. They may probe me wrong but I am anticipating that myself. Again, I don't see how any of us can complain. Folks they didn't have to offer us an upgrade at all. I think this will make my F75 so much easier to use in different places. So looking forward to getting it back and hitting one of my nail patches.

My guess is the upgrade numbering started at 200. I seriously doubt there are that man f75 owners in the know enough to be that high of a number the first couple days announced. Not to mention the process is not the easiest to figure out for non-computer savy.

Ok, we can soon find out, anybody that's had an upgrade number less than 200, put your hands up now!! as everyone so far is in the 200+ range, may be we are over thinking this.

Well it's been 4 business days since some upgrades have been in FTP's hands. Anyone get notice of their upgrade shipping out in return?

In answer to my original question:

Sometime...

I got a call from Fisher today. My upgrade is underway and they hope to ship my detector out no later than this coming Tuesday. Boy does that surprise me. They got my unit on Wednesday. I am pretty happy.

Good to hear. Hope you up-graders have good experiences. I'll be enjoying my 705 and eurotek pro until new units hit distro.

Anyone hear anything about the pre ordered units?

They got mine on Monday, no word yet. I also sent in my 15" along with my 5" and stock coil.

so is this unit gonna be 1099$ with 11 inch DD and 5 inch sniper? also, what is the cost of upgrade?

I asked on the Fisher Facebook page when US Dealers would get new F-75's - here was their answer last night.

"We are looking at a ship date of next week."

Hope so. Paid and waiting.
