I think I lost my question on a different post; Question I have is since the F75 LTD seems to bounce around so much 33/75 swinging each direction which number do you choose?? do you guess its junk? or go with the highest number you can get like on the Sov Gt or ??
I get a lot of like 43/ 73 or 22/45 going one way i get one going th e other way I get the other ; It is usually consistant tho. just 2 numbers????
Or do you average and like 22 / 45 figure thats a nickel?? at 32.???
This is strickly coinshooting in school yard ty pe hunting.
Thanks for any experienced help; I need it:stars:

i use the t-2 but if i have the time i will disc out the lower number and see how it sounds and where the numbers are at the higher setting.

Usually in my area coins lock on much more solid than trash targets. Usually a "for sure" dig for nickel is when it bounces between 30-31. Coins almost always show up in the 50's-80's and dont usually bounce around too much. Rember that there also could be multiple targets in one hole causing it to jump, then its anyones guess whether you want to dig. Also, iron can pull the number way down as well.

That was my thought when you consistantly get like 34/ 75 it might just be a tab and a dime??? I got to experiment where this happens real frequent again.
Thanks Much

If you are relic hunting. Dig all of them. I have dug some old coins while relic hunting and they will read a good number, unless it is DEEP and then the number will jump around.:look: Bear

You learn more by digging it and referencing it in your grey matter storage zone (brain). I find it part of the interesting hobby of detecting and improving my Quesstimation technique
