Where can I find a lower shaft assembly for an Explorer XS?

I've been surfing the Internet trying to find someone who sells lower shaft assemblies for an Explorer XS. I found several for the Explorer II, are they interchangeable? Any help would be appreciated.

Explorer XS hasn't be manufactured for a while so I can see the shortage of lower rods...Explorer 11 is a much improved design and made with superior materials to prevent damage..I have used a 11 lower rod on a XS with no problems and worked well. I would contact Minelab and get it from the horse mouth relative if they are interchangeable and believe me they supply quick and courteous service relative to questions such as this..XS lower rods frequently show up on classifieds and auctions so that may be an option also....

the only problem you will have is that if you have the Sunray X-1 Probe, that you will have to wrap the Coil Cord around the lower shaft since the newer shafts do not have the long slot for the cable to go into like the older Explorer XS shafts did. I have an Explorer XS and have both Lower Rods for different coils. I use the Tall Man Shaft that is a bit longer than the usual Lower Shaft (about 3"-4" Longer) that comes with the Explorer II and SE and they work great. If you purchase the Carbon Fiber Lower Rod for your Explorer XS, you may need to take some electrical tape and put below the square end of the lower shaft due to there being a little play when you move the coil side by side when detecting. Hope this helps you out and Good Luck and HH.

These are the same shaft where it connect to the upper shaft, but are better built than the XS shaft were.
On another classified a guy has a XS shaft for sale with the mounting hardware if you want a XS shaft, but you can get a new Explorer II from any Minelab dealer for about the same price.
