Did you all party too late last night? Come on no get up and start 2009 off right! Let's go diggin! :twodetecting:
Oh that is right it is frozen solid up here! :sadwalk:
So what did you do to ring in the new year? We were invited over to some friends that we go to church with were about 15 of us played games and had snacks. We played a rough bloody game of spoons, a dice game called LCR, and then Apples to Apples Bible Edition. It was a lot of fun and fellowship.
Then the ball dropped and most of us prepared to go home. Now it is your turn! :)

Mary's in West Viorginia so the dog and I watched a movie. The neighbors shooting off shotguns to welcome the New Year woke the dog up and I told him Happy New Year! Slept in and read Mike wants to know where everyone is? Wow any more excitement and I'l fall asleep!

The kids and I spent the night playing games and watching movies. My wife Kathy had to work News Years eve (she works for a Ambulance Service) for the second Year in a row. We had fun and we all stayed up until midnight. Hope everyone had a safe and Happy New Year. It has started to snow again here to add to the 10 inches we had last week, so that means more snow shoveling later today. I do not have to go back to work until the 5th, so I am going to enjoy the last few days of my vacation.

bubbly white grape juice , that is :) We had a big time, watched an NBA game, had snacks & the bubbly, went to bed about 10, woke up to all the fire crackers at midnight, said happy New Year and went back to sleep. Just got out of the spa and am ready for the day, steve in so az

Didn't do anything last night but fall asleep in my recliner - waking up about 4 am. Just exhausted from work and my body needed the rest more than seeing the new year in.

Just might have to! :)

We have had snow for the last 2 weeks and temps from 10 below to a high of 42. Great for melting the snow and giving the entire area a great Ice rink on all the roads. Two years ago I bought a used snow blower and it and I have been getting a good workout this year!

Nothing like our friends in Michigan have been getting; but we have been getting our share and not wanting to hog ALL the pleasure of having snow, we send the snow clouds on to provide a white Christmas for them in the east.:bouncy:

May you and your families all have a blessed New Year.

Your Brother-in-Christ,
Mark

Cliif and I were at home as usual! He watched TV and went to bed....don't know before or after midnight! I played games on the Computer and heard the fireworks at midnight or gun shots (which I hope didn't happen like in the past) and then at 1:00 am, I heard the final boom from the fire work displays all around while I got ready and went to bed! Remember, we older folks did our partying in our younger years and now we are worn out with no more energy to spare! :bouncy: Oh, I prayed also for all of us and our loved ones! Blessings for the whole year and the best of health and happiness to each of us! We have Jesus, so no need to worry, for He is with His own and will not leave nor forsake us, unless we walk away from Him by unbelief that He is not really real.........BUT HE IS!!!!! God Bless!
