I really like the new forum, though I only get online a couple times a week and it moves pretty fast. Anyway how come we have to go through this forum to get to the friends forum and why does it seem like it runs slower than the other forums. I thought at first it might be the high traffic that causes it but when everyone posted here it never seemed to run slow for me. The problem I'm having is that when I click on one of the posts and then hit my back button it takes awhile to return to the main forum. By the way I do have cable internet so I don't think it's me. Like I said I do like the forum but I tend to visit it less now because of the speed.

Jim, once you get to the Friends &Finds forum, just copy the URL into your address bar or your
"favorites section" and you'll never have to go to the White's forum again (unless you want to).

The group that was here and also myself used many different kinds of machines and most of all shared more than just Metal Detecting, the good folks that came in here looking for help would sometimes get confussed and lost within all the post. I talked to the Guvner and asked if we could move the forum so this forum could get back on track to help those needing help with mainly Whites Machines.
As Art has said down below this forum was a ghost town before we landed, we bought it back to life again and it went well for two years but some folks thought it got off track and I agree, now it is back to what it was before we landed here, a Whites Metal Detecting Forum I hope.
Now that we are gone and happy with our Friends and Finds forum this forum has kinda slowed down abit but is not dead in the water by no means, we gave the few back what they wanted, a Whites Forum and now it is up to them to take over this forum and make it hop again <img src="/metal/html/clap.gif" border=0 width=20 height=30 alt=":clap">
On the Friends and Finds forum we have many great user's of Whites Line of Machines, the great XLT, the MXT and the DFX but we also have the Minelab users, the Fisher user's and so on and so on <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="">
We talk about Metal Detecting and what we just found in the back yard but we also talk about our kids and what we had for dinner, we talk about everything because that is what that forum was set up for, this forum is back and mostly for Whites Machines again, now it is up to those few to make it work, they ask for it and Findmall gave it to them and I agree with the move.
If you have a question or just want to say hello Brian you can always post it here or at the new forum, for those that want just a Whites Forum you got it, there are still many great Whites user's that view this forum, my friends Mr. Bill and Monte come to mind right off the bat <img src="/metal/html/please.gif" border=0 width=29 height=15 alt="lease">!

the new forum is slower but I don't have anything to do with that, I am on DSL and it is slow at times for me also <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=""> it's the Webbs format bud, comes with the turf <img src="/metal/html/frown.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="">
The move had to be made and I saw it a year ago, these good folks are all friends and have been together for years, these folks are family and have proved that over the years, they stand together and have threw thick and thin, many of these great folks have met threw these forums and have become dear friends and family, this is what the hobby is all about <img src="/metal/html/clap.gif" border=0 width=20 height=30 alt=":clap">
Many of these folks live in the sticks and are on dial up but still make time to post, you won't find better friends in this hobby then you will on the Friends and Finds forum, they have stuck together and lift each other up when need be, there is power in friendship and these good folks proved it and I am honored to know each and everyone of them <img src="/metal/html/super.gif" border=0 width=26 height=28 alt=":super">
You see Craig from (NW PA) I don't lead, I just follow my fiends and where they lead me, because if your gonna be in this hobby you gotta let your hair down and flow with your friends as I do, even on DSL at 3 mb's <img src="/metal/html/clap.gif" border=0 width=20 height=30 alt=":clap"> which is also slow at times I just hook up with them because I need that fix, my forum friends <img src="/metal/html/clap.gif" border=0 width=20 height=30 alt=":clap">!
So stop by Craig and don't sweat the slow speed and be thankful that you are not on dail up!!!!!!!!!!
