Where theres wheaties, theres silver !!!!

I alway live by the credo that if you're digging wheat cents, you're gonna dig silver. After digging 8 wheaties yesterday at a pounded city park, I returned today bound and determined to dig some silver. First signal I dug after exiting the car this morning was a 1920-S mercury dime. Dug about a half dozen wheat cents before striking silver again with a 1940 mercury dime. Found a few more wheats along with a 1905 Indian head cent and Buffalo nickel before deciding to hit a small hill where Charles found a nice ring a few years ago. Got a deep signal which I expected to be another silver dime and was quite surprised to pull the 1899 Barber quarter from a depth of about 8 inches. These days, three silvers in one hunt is quite an accomplishment around here.
Silver is getting tougher and tougher to find.

a good hunt for me. You have the same motto as I do. If I'm digging 3-4-5 wheaties...some silver is popping out before long.

The Quarter looks like a nice one. You did very well and I am sure there is more Silver waiting for your next return as well. Great Looking Finds. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH.

Hi, I'm new to the Minelab Explorer family having just purchased a used EX2 and anxiously awaiting its arrival and I have a question for you folks here; What does a silver dime sound like, compared to a wheatie and where does it show on the smartfind screen and the digital screen?
I'm trying to get a jump on the learning curve you see.
BTW that was a nice haul for your efforts. Hope to learn quickly to do as well.
