I am planning a detecting vacation for the week of march 15 to 22. Don,t get to beach hunt very often so I don't want to waste time finding the right place. would any of you experienced beach guys know the best beaches from Dana Point to San Diego for a landlubber to hunt { don't give away your best spots}

It's a crapshoot. Trick is you got to read the beach. Figure out where the people lay around, walk lanes to concession stands, rest rooms etc. Gotta basically hunt after the people start clearing out. Or before they arrive. Wear headphones. The busier the beach more drops. Hopefully. Sure others will have tips for you. Good luck
