Where's all the gold at.........................................

Clearwater Beach. So far all i've found is two quarters and more than my share of junk. At least I'm doing my part in cleaning the beach of trash. People leave plastic bottles etc laying on the beach in sight of the trash containers, I'll never understand why the like to trash the beaches. Just lazy I guess or just don't care. I pick them up and put them where they belong in the trash containers. Doing my part in keeping Florida clean, I do it in KY too. Might not find any gold, but still having a great time.
God Bless
KyBud

I don't understand why people trash public areas and roadsides. Glad you're doing your part to keep things cleaned up!

Hey KyBud, I totally agree with you. I don't know why people trash public parks and beach areas either. Almost every time I walk around the block, where I live, I collect at least two plactic bags of junk left on the roadside. Why do people do this?

you should see the public parks on Monday morn ! All kinds of junk littered around. They do produce gold for me though, Steve in so az

My brother, Larry's first wife, used to dump stuff on the parking lots and he asked her why she did that because it was unsanitary and she said, it gave the people hired something to do and to get paid! She sure didn't realize that the cost of workers to clean the parking lots made everything she bought more costly! I'm sure most of them don't have a maid or housekeeper to clean up after them, so if they did at home what they do in public places, they must be awful slobs and have a very messy home! I used to pick up plastic bottles, aluminum cans and etc. to help clean the area I was detecting and I still pick up things off the floor of a store I am shopping in that either got knocked off the shelf or some other way. I just hate to see things go to waste by being run over by people or shopping carts! I guess it comes from my past, as we were taught to not be wasteful and to clean up after ourselves and we were given good work ethics and to do unto others as you would have them do unto you! I liked it when they had ball games, for I would find all kinds of coins that the kids would lose by going to and from the Concession Stand for foods and drinks! May God Bless you and yours with good health and lots of found goodies! Amen! Ma Betty

Yeah many beach go'ers are pigs! When I go to Lake MI early some mornings there is trash everywhere. Like you said it is right where they can see the trash cans. Also when I hunt in the water I see guys take off caps and tabs while stadning in their boats and toss them in the water! If you are digging trash signals the gold will come!

Well the town / county does come along with mechanical "rakes" to clean the beaches. But as to why people litter is beyond me. No respect and common sense left in some people. Totally disrespectful, ruins the environment and it kills wildlife. Just to give "these" type of people an idea, I would like to find out where they live, show up with a dump truck filled with empty water bottles and dump them right in their front yard. Then I'll will see just how concerned they'll become. Thanks KyBud for picking up after the lazy people in society and keepin' the earth a little cleaner.
