Which coil do you prefer to use?

I recently got a 4 inch coil and it seemed my luck improved. Maybe I was just paying better attention, but has anyone else noted any difference. My other coil is the stock 8 inch one.

I pretty much keep the 10 incher on unless the trash just gets too serious or shoulder starts to bother me, then will switch back to the 8 incher. Don't have a 4 incher yet but I did say Yet. can see times it would be very useful. Even in trash areas can get pretty dead on with the 8 though. Beleave a good coil selection is important if your going to hunt it all, coin, relic, ect.

I find the 4" finds targets just as easily as the 8". and it has pin point accuracy... so I use it for the small beach stuff.

I've used the 4" coil quite a bit , but lately gone back to the standard 8". Not for long I go back to the smaller one. I have done equally with both. Happy Hunting.

My coil of choice is the 11"DD . I prefer it because I can cover a larger area in less time, it is better in highly mineralized ground, better target separation than the stock 8" coil and gets more depth. But in really trashy areas I go with the 4" coil for the best target separation.
