Which coil for the Eurotek Pro

Rick(ND)

Well-known member
Which coil sees to work the best with the Eurotek Pro?? I see there is 2 options when you order a new one in with the 11 inch DD coil $80 more I believe.

Thanks
Rick

You should always have multiple coils for different conditions. I would want the 11"DD and a much smaller coil.

I really like the 8" coil on the Eurotek Pro.

Rick, I like the DD coils on the ETPro. The 11" is real good as the little 5x10 DD.

Rick Im seriously thinking of picking one of these up myself. I wish they added in the small 5" DD coil as a coil option also but they dont. Thats the coil I would like to get on it. The Teknetics 11" coil is a good one seperation/depth wise but its still a big footprint.
One 9volt battery too, what a nice looking lightweight detector:thumbup:

If I get one to have around I figure on getting the 5 inch coil too along with the main coil which I been thinking on a 11 DD coil myself. I would probably get the detector and see what it can do and if I like it then get the 5 inch coil.
I had a F-75 SE and think I left the small elliptical coil on it most of the time as it worked so good for me, so I know they have some great small coils that do great.

The 8 inch coil rejects iron best.
The 11 DD covers more ground, separates better and is somewhat deeper in bad soil.
The 10 x 5 inch comes right in between the 8" and 11" and would be the best standard coil.
The 5" is the best if you need extreme target separation in trash.

We need them all. :twodetecting:
