Which coil should I get for my F 75? 5" DD or 6" Concentric?

Which 6" concentric is that?

J

Jimmy I have the 6.5" concentric for my F75 and I keep it on my unit 95% of the time. It does a very good job in trashy sites..is pretty deep....and is quieter than the 11". It gets better separation too. I haven't had the 5"DD but I've heard it does well in iron infested sites. Since I had the 6.5" I never thought I'd need the 5"DD. I prefer concentric over DD...it's a little more stable for me and the ground I hunt has a low mineral content.

Hope this helps...maybe others can chime in with their experiences.

Jim, in most of the dirt here in Missouri, I think the 3x6 will work great. I have one for my F70 and will use it on the LTD when I get it. MO

6" works great..but I would go for the 5" DD. Better separation and that's what the 5" excels at..Good depth too .

I have the 6.5 and it works really nice in trash. Does 5-6" in depth. I was in your position when thinking of which small coil to buy. I looked at the 5" and it is small, very small. The 6.5 is small also but it does give you a bigger field of detection with every swing. If you have a big area to detect with the small coil you might just want a little bigger coil, that is why I picked the 6.5". .....Z

I just wish I could run 99 sens in Je where I detect. Highest I can get is around 85. The 6" coil is what I am using on my F75 right now. I put my stock coil back on it and detected for about and hour. I took it off and replaced it with the 6" and went back over what I detected and started pulling coins where I detected with the 11". I say the 6" SIMPLY because I KNOW it is an awesome coil to use with this detector. Swing it fast or slow. It will still find the targets. I dug a barber the other day around the 6-8 inch range myself. Top Notch coil if you ask me.
