i plan to hunt old house sites in the woods and fields i have a explorer se pro and need to know which coil is better thanks hal

To me the difference is the 6x8" sef I consider a mid sized 8" coil and the 6" is a small coil. Also the 6x8" being open in a butterfly configuration shape will catch and snag on things the 6" is thin and solid and won't, something to think about.
