which is better minelab 705 or Fisher gold bug

I lived in Southern ca. I hunt in the Garlock area. I was told area was different then Arizona. So, which detector would work better.

For prospecting? A GB II @ 71kHz is hard to beat.
For general purpose, between a GB Pro and an Xterra 705, I'd take the 705 all day any day.

if you only plan to prospect for gold then the Gold Bug 2

GB2 for pure prospecting for gold. 705 for gold prospecting and general detecting and having fun.
