Which MXT Setting?

[sup]When hunting a salt water beach (dry sand) which mode would be better, Coin & Jewelry or Relic?

Would one setting find more than the other?

Would one setting get better depth over the other?

Thanks.

I like relic mode with trigger forward.
This gives you two tones .This is for the older MXT
Likely no disc as you may want to dig ever signal.
Never hunted in salt areas not sure how it'll
handle that.
Try the salt toggle.

Thew MXT is super in relic mode with dis on 3 I use it all the time and have found rings etc.
When you go from dry to wet sand your machine will act a little weird a lot of chatter ground balance it and keep the switch in salt mode.

[sup]Thanks for all the tips. I tried relic setting and love it, especially with the trigger forward. This machine really can tell the difference between the good and the junk. Found a few coins, but nothing special. Thanks again.[/sup]

relic is more deeper, try first to put the trac in ground, if it's too fussy, put trac in salt.
