Which of the two?

Hello all,

First time poster and new to metal detecting. Looking for some advice on which of these two detectors to get as my first metal detector.

The choices are a vista gold or warrior. The reason being is that they are both available within my price range second hand and from watching videos and I've come to the conclusion that I like the detector without the VDI. I like the idea of using it on the beach in the dry sand to look for lost jewellery etc but also have access to a sort of unused field which probably has a lot of trash in it.

Anyways, any recommendations would be appreciated

Tom, the Gain is a wonderful machine, it does exceptionally well on higher conductive targets BUT I used it hunting CW relic and I am sure that I was missing lead past 8 inches or so... Reason was that the audio was transitioning between high and low on the target.. Not an issue on higher conductors.. The Warrior has excellent depth and works at a lower freq which is better for the kind of hunting that I do..18 khz.. The Smart Plus operates at 15 khz and does even better, IMHO. Any of the 3 choices, would be a winner.. Too, USA warranty service.. Thanks Richard

Jewelry and buying used the Gold Gain would be a great choice.

Plus it can still hang in depth on higher and or bigger targets with alot of other units that are on lower freqs.

One thing about DeepTechs There always deep !!The name does not lie.
