Whites 6000 Di Pro SL as a Relic Machine?

New to this machine as a CW relic machine, have hunted with the Blue Gray Pro in the hot ground I live in and had very good luck would the 6000 hold it's own against it ( not worried about the face plate) need opinion from somebody who hunts with it. Thanks, Phillip.

The short answer to your question is Yes! Your Blue and Gray is a 5900 with different decals to cater to Civil War relic hunters and was/is very popular. The link below will take you to a Whites
download(PDF), that will explain the differences in the two detectors. Very good information.
Good luck

I just found out my Brother inlaw has a Whites 6000 he has had put away for years. We got to talking today about my new Fisher F5 and showed him my new finds and he said he's getting the itch to dig it back out.
Said it was top of the line when he bought it! Maybe I'll have me a hunting partner soon.:)

Hi allgirls
I have used the 6000/Di PRO SL for 18 yrs. still do!!
I hunt relics here in Watkins Glen N.Y. in 1779 1/3 of the Cont.army can through here to wipe out the 7 Nathions indians, Senecas and 6 other tribes in leigh with the English, The French were here 150 yrs. before that.
So we have all kinds of relics around here ...... that detector will (ground bal.) in GEB NORM once ground balanced if you want to run it in all metal run it in GEB SAT it runs much smoother, than in GEB NORM .
I have found some trade axes 1600 - 1730 at 18-24" inches so it will hunt deep if you take it some place it can shine for you .
thanks Gary G.A.P.metal
