whites 950 coil

i had to send in my 5900 di sl to have it checked out and then repaired. whites was excelent in the job they did, except that they changed my coil from the old thin style to the new fat one.,which i ddint think was bad, maybe its just me ,but i feel the old coil did a much better job, has anyone else had to change coils and what were your results?

I am not sure about the results between the two, but the older flat style coils couldn't be repaired once they went bad as where the newer style can be fixed if needed. But the "pancake " style coils were nice and alot of people liked the flat style over the newer style.

It does change the feel a little..so that may be why you think it is different..
