I recently had to send my V3i in for repair work. After receiving it back from Centerville. It worked properly until I charged the battery pack. Then it was back to the same problem of a unstable detector at low Rx settings. After going threw the master reset process with Mary Hudson from whites electronics and having no improvement. They shipped out a brand new V3i detector. With a prepaid shipping label to send back the non working detector. That's some top notch customer service. I was relieved to have a actual person answer the phone and not have to deal with a automated computer. Thanks whites and thank you Mary Hudson.
